I have an embarrassing confession, and (I hate to say it … but) this is the sugar-coated version of it.

I went to the local tavern and picked up a gal. We went home and made out. My wife walked in on us and seemed upset. I calmly walked over to her with a smile that begged her approval. “Great to see you” I said with confidence, “I’m glad you saw how passionately I was kissing this other gal, because once you know how I was thinking of you the whole time, your going to be so impressed of that expression of love toward you …”

OK, that sounds absurd, doesn’t it? How could anyone be that stupid to think that the wife would be pleased at all if her husband was getting it on with a harlot while thinking about her the whole time?

Doesn’t that even make it more disturbing that he was thinking about her?

Here is the sad thing: I’ve been that stupid. It would be bad enough if I had been that stupid with my wife, but that is not what I’m talking about. I’ve been that stupid with God.

It is written that redeemed saints are the bride of Christ. I’m married to Him, and so are you if you are a believer.

While I am in the world I went and got seduced by the December 25th holiday and other pagan festivals. It wasn’t long before I was passionately enthralled in these things. God could see me do this, and I just confidently explained to God that “I was thinking of Him the whole time.” No. That’s not how I said it. It was more like, “Jesus is the reason for the season” or “Lets keep Christ in Christmas.” But the bottom line is that I was acting a harlot and sleeping around on Him, while trying to justify my adultery by saying I was thinking of Him as I did it.

Yeah, I’m that stupid.

I’m sorry. I’ve blown it. I’ve repented. I ain’t sleeping around any more. No more justifying it. I don’t want to do that anymore to the God that I love. I love Him because He first loved me.

He has proven it to me. As often as I blow it, He is there to forgive me and pick me up from all my stumbling. He welcomes me back into a pure relationship even though I have played the harlot over and over. And I’m getting so convinced that He’ll forgive and love me that I don’t care to wander as much as I have in the past. All that leads to regret, and there is no regret in His arms for He fulfills every longing of my heart.

12/16/05 From The Lord, Our God and Savior
The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
(Regarding the modern holidays of men[1])

Thus says The Lord God: This world has altogether become a house of harlots, a whole generation who ceases not from committing fornication with the pagan and the heathen, reveling always in those things I hate! – A most perverse generation who desecrates the name of The Messiah, a foolish people who do always take the name of The Lord in vain![2]

Behold, all remain shackled to this world, captivated by sin, caught up in the ways of the world and men! Even those within the churches of men will not heed My voice, nor will they receive My correction; choosing rather to mingle honor with dishonor, praise with blasphemy, and purity with sin! Therefore stop breaking My Commandments in The Messiah’s name, O churches of men! You shall not associate His name with sin, nor shall you honor Him with pagan rituals and idolatrous traditions, lest I reject you as I rejected the pagans before you!
Repent, therefore, and give Me glory; worship Me in spirit and in truth,[3] and call upon The Name! For He alone shall deliver you in the Day of Wrath,[4] if you so choose to embrace Him as He truly is; He being the very same who shall also destroy the wicked and bring terrible judgment upon the rebellious, upon great and small, rich and poor, bond and free, upon all who forsake My Law and push out the hand against the Word of My Commandment! For by Him were you made a vessel unto honor, yet you have all become vessels of dishonor, heaping to yourselves vanities and sin!
Therefore, because you are not ashamed of all these abominations which you have committed, but walk proudly, you shall be the first to fall among those who fall, at the time I punish this world for its iniquity and cast down the multitudes for their wickedness![5] For I am The Lord, and I do not change![6]

Therefore hear My words, all you proud blasphemers, all you modern pharisees who pervert the Truth, for thus says The Lord: How long shall you desecrate the name of The Messiah, and set yourselves up as an authority?! Behold, as vines of wickedness you bring forth only bitter fruit, propagating corrupt doctrine and perverse tradition among the people like a plague, doctrines and traditions I hate! YAHUSHUA, whom you call Jesus and Christ, is The True Vine! And only those who bear fruit in accordance with His likeness are His branches. And I shall surely prune every branch which grows from Him, that it may bear even more fruit.[7] Yet you say, “Here I am, I also grow from The Vine!” You are all liars, a malignancy growing where you should not, dry branches meet to be broken off and cast into the fire![8]

Peoples of the earth, the Wrath of The Lamb is coming![9]
Did you think I would stay silent during the time appointed?!
Did you think I would not set the time and declare the season?!…

For I am a jealous God and great in power,

Thus I shall speak plainly, for you are a most rebellious and hard-hearted people, a most foolish and deceived generation: These modern holidays called Christmas, Easter, Halloween and the like, are an abomination in the eyes of The Most High God. Therefore in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath, I shall destroy all your pagan traditions, and tear apart every perverse holiday of man! Behold, I shall wipe them from the face of the earth on that day, and no more shall you break My Commandments and revel in sin in The Messiah’s name!
Behold, My countenance is turned against you, O churches of men! For you have blasphemed My name without ceasing, polluting the name of The Messiah days without end! You have placed the commandments of men above The Commandments of God, saying within yourselves, “We are the only authority among men.” How long shall you walk in the ways of the harlot and commit adultery with the pagan?! How long shall you turn your ear away from hearing The Holy Law?! Thus your worship is not accepted, and your prayers are an abomination![11]
Churches of men, stop your vain babbling, for you do always twist the Scriptures of Truth! BE SILENT BEFORE YOUR GOD! For your traditions are heresy, and your holidays are proof! Purge all this blasphemy from your lips, therefore, step back from your corrupt teachings, and take an account! HUMBLE YOURSELVES! For I am indeed calling you out!
Know you not, that you have all become as the pagan and the heathen, by which all your holidays have their origins?! ABOMINATION! This world has seduced you, and the harlot has led you into temptation! She shall be stripped naked and left desolate in the day of her calamity, broken because of her iniquities, put to death because of her denial of the Truth, crushed beneath the feet of The Holy One of Israel!

Therefore hear the Word of The Lord and give heed, for thus declares The Lord: One Commandment broken are all Commandments broken. One sin committed in The Messiah’s name are all sins accounted to you. One sin repented in His name, all are forgiven you. For I know your thoughts, My children, even your innermost intentions, and I know whether or not you are fully converted in your hearts.[12] And though you may lie to yourselves, and bear false witness in the sight of many witnesses, nothing is hidden from the eyes of God – Every lie exposed, every heart laid bare, in the Day I rise up and judge the earth.

Come to Me, therefore, in sincerity and in truth;
Humble yourselves in The Messiah’s name…

For He is The True Light, utterly void of darkness,
The Only Way to follow, The Truth Absolute;
By Him alone shall you walk into everlasting life…

For only those who walk in Him shall find Me,[13]
And only those in union with Him shall know Me[14]

Says The Lord.

Ever notice … ?

Once a branch has been abiding in the vine for many years and is pruned often… one can hardly distinguish it from the vine?

vine and branches

John 15:5 –

“I am the Vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without Me. ~ YahuShua (Jesus)

Another parable…

Parable of the Two Trees
From Letters From God and His Christ (TrumpetCallofGodonline.com)

11/04 From Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Savior – A Letter Given to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

As for the tree of the world, where every foul and evil bird lives… God will bring upon that tree a fierce wind and will topple it to the ground… Pull it up by its roots, destroy it with hail, and burn its branches with fire, until nothing remains!…

Then will He plant a new seed, which will grow forever and never die…Much fruit will it bear…

And all will gather around and live beneath its branches, and also be its branches…

Says The Lord.

10 VERY Important Questions, Plus 1

1. Should we worship other gods?
2. Should we make idols?
3. Should we take the Lord’s name in vain?
4. Should we dishonor our parents?
5. Should we kill?
6. Should we commit adultery?
7. Should we steal?
8. Should we bear false witness?
9. Should we covet?

I know your answer!

10. So then, should we remember and keep Sabbath?…

Do we keep it as the Lord Himself has written or how the churches would like to rewrite it or how we want and on the day we choose?!

“For whosoever shall keep the whole Law, and yet offend on one point, he is guilty of all” ~ James (James 2:10)

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.” ~ Jesus (Matthew 5:19)

Click here for —> Overwhelming Evidence That Saturday is Indeed The Sabbath

I’ve been delivered from the fear of posting the obvious. So, here goes …
Jesus fulfilled the law and He can never sin.

Jesus manifests Himself through those people in whom He lives.

Jesus, whenever living through them, causes them to live as He lived.

Thus, Jesus sets us free from sin and fulfills the law, as we let Him live through us.

Therefore, those that fixate their focus on Jesus and abide in Him, have found that as they do so, they are miraculously doing what they could not do otherwise … for in letting the Lord Jesus live through them they are taking a break from the vexation of sin and finding that (by the Spirit) their works are in perfect alignment with His laws.

From one moment to the next our focus can change, and so we may use any given moment (no matter what went before) to again focus upon the Lord and abide in Christ Jesus … opening the door of our hearts and letting Him come out (of us) and play.

The first-fruits or works bore in our lives AFTER YahuShua (Jesus) abiding in us is to keep the Commandments by His enabling grace and love… this is to fulfill the Law (“inside-out”); that we keep the Commandments. And in keeping them(commands 1-4) is to Love God with all ourselves and to love our neighbor as ourself (commands 5-10)–> “we ESTABLISH the Law!”(Romans 3:31)
This is to do what YahuShua (Jesus) did…walking as He walked… denying ourselves and picking up our crosses and following Him… He living through us. Even to the remembering of the Sabbath, which is the only Commandment the Lord God sanctified and said that we should REMEMBER and keep Holy, even as YahuShua (Jesus) did.
So then these things are indeed self-evident or ‘obvious’ even as the Scripture below states… yet the churches teach to walk contrary to YahuShua (Jesus) and to resist the Holy Spirit and the enabling Grace given us and walk instead according to the doctrines of men rather than letting Christ in us fulfill all righteousness, that we, of ourselves, could never do. Because YahuShua (Jesus) IS “The Lord Our Righteousness” (Jer 33:16).
And what is righteousness?… that we believe in the Son and keep the Moral Law by Him who lives in us…

Grace AND the Law.

1 John 2:3-6
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

So what is FIRST?

Joh 15:4 –
Remain united to Me, and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the Vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in Me.

“What reasons do we have to still keep the Sabbath on a certain day?”

Since we have our rest in Jesus, and what was once physical is now spiritual, why would the sabbath be a day?
If Jesus is truly our rest (which of course He is) and things that once were physical are now spiritual (the temple, inward holiness rather than outward….) then what reasons do we have to still keep the sabbath on a certain day? This is a genuine question, and I thank all for their responses.

Answer by Trent (inspired)

What does love look like?

A good indication that two people are in love is when they give one another gifts and wrap them in pretty paper with a touching note attached. Next time your beloved gives such a gift it is wise to open it and not just toss it aside, but take a moment to carefully examine what is given … if it is clothes, then it is nice to try it on. If it is a necklace then ask your beloved to help you with the clasp (if required) so that you can wear it. It is nice to ask why they picked out the pendant and what it might mean, or otherwise engage in conversation about it.

In contrast, what would you think about a person who is loved and given such a gift, but instead refuses to open it? What if they open it and treat it with disregard or even worse … with disdain / anger as if the devil wrapped it as a trap and placed it at your doorstep as a cruel trick? Would that reaction to the gift indicate mutual love or hatefulness?

And so I speak to you as someone who was so hateful to leave the gift wrapped and treat it like my beloved was tricking me for many years. I only speak to you about what I have done. Now, even upon occasion a friend would come along and say they opened the gift and love it, but I struck at them with my mouth and with my thoughts birthed in darkness and ignorance. I suppose there is something in human nature that fears what they do not know about … and it is perhaps for this reason that the Lord made it clear … its not a trap … it is a gift!

Mr 2:27
And He said unto them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.”

I will tell you something that very few will understand, but I will say it anyway. These things (sabbaths and holy days / feasts) that I once treated with disdain, I now treasure as wonderful gifts from my Lord and Savior. I don’t ever want to try to get by without them, but I didn’t know that until I finally decided to experiment one day … and give the gift a try. I opened the gift! And AFTERWARD God opened my eyes!

I don’t know if your experience will be different than mine, but for me … I didn’t “get it” until I DID it. It was still a mystery … I still was not sure it really was a gift.

Fastforward 1 year or so since my first Sabbath experience: God and I are giving each other presents constantly … He always gives me more than I can give back … and He always has a gift waiting for me every week. That is the way I see each Sabbath, now. I never would have guessed I would end up like this … like a quivering lover delighted and opening one gift after another … with glee each time. Thus, this has inspired me to make my whole life a gift to Him … I just want to … what else could someone do with so little to give, but just to honor Him in all my ways the best I know how … and in the meantime do my best to open each new gift He gives me … as a lover would open a gift … no hate fullness found anymore.

You may not “get it” until you DO it. That’s the best thing I can tell you.

Eighteen reasons why, in a single verse?

by Trent (originally posted March 24, 2006)

Luke 13:1-5 (NIV)
Repent or Perish
Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all [likewise] perish.”

Not one person or two, but eighteen had a city tower crumble and fall on them. It was unanimous; all died. This was Jesus’ illustration of judgement of unrepentence. The strange thing is why there was not a single man out of all eighteen that consciously moaning in agony.

Could Jesus have found an illustration of unending torment? I suppose He could have, if he wanted to support the modern interpretation of “perish.”

Church-goers have all heard that to perish does not mean die, it means staying alive while in misery and discomfort … like burning alive but not being consumed, just feeling the heat in agony. But, “perish” from a biblical standpoint has always meant one thing – death … not ongoing, but final and complete death.

In this passage Jesus gives us eighteen reasons to believe the truth, becuase eighteen people were caught under the tower, but not a single one of them was in unending couscious torment and agony. In fact, eighteen out of eighteen were snuffed out.

So if unrepentence is your thing, and unbelief suits you … I am not annihilationhere to change your mind … I’m just here to explain what lies ahead.

Wide is the road that leads to [torment?]
No … it has always been …
Wide is the road that leads to destruction.

Lessons about Judas’ Salvation

God Speaks Regarding the Salvation of Judas Iscariot:

Click Here: http://trumpetcallofgodonline.com/index.php5?title=From_Betrayal_to_Victory

A man.
A scoundrel.

Oh how I love Judas. … or at least my flesh LOVES to think that some people are so evil, that I can judge myself better than them by comparison. Thinking the flattering notion that I am savable, but they are not.

I recently noticed something that challenged my viewpoint about Judas. It is a relief to put to rest the superiority about which my flesh was weighing me down, because the Gospels points to the conclusion that Judas was a sheep.

Before Jesus was betrayed, He prayed this:

Joh 17:12
“While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.

Two main points.

  1. Judas was the son of perdition (which implies destruction).
  2. Judas was given to the Lord Jesus by the Father to keep, along with the others.

It is crucial to my point to keep in mind that the Father gave Judas to the Lord to save, because of the next quote from the Lord:

Joh 6:39
“This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

John 10:27-29
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
“My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

This leaves us with only two possibilities.

  1. That Judas was eventually given grace to come to the Lord and be His sheep, for it is clear that the Father gave Judas to the Lord for this reason.
  2. Or Jesus lied when He said that He would not loose a single sheep given to Him by the Father.

Of course there is evidence that Judas did indeed come to full repentance by God’s grace after his betrayal of the Lord.

Matthew 27:3-4
Judas, the one who betrayed him, realized that Jesus was doomed. Overcome with remorse, he gave back the thirty silver coins to the high priests,
saying, “I’ve sinned. I’ve betrayed an innocent man.” They said, “What do we care? That’s your problem!”

Here are the lessons that I glean from all of this:

  • All of us that claim to be saved, should also be aware that at one time we, too, were sons of perdition.
  • We all need grace, revelation and the call of our Shepherd to respond and show remorse for our sins and to come to Him in all humility.
  • Jesus can save even those that seem to be the least likely of it.
  • It does no good to see people as they are at this moment or to evaluate them by what they have already done. Instead, we should evaluate everyone by the potential that God can make of them, even to see that potential as already fulfilled, because it is a cake-walk for God to bring out their full potential.
  • Stay humble. Do not let yourself be flattered with the notion that you picked up on the Gospel, but that others just aren’t bright enough to have picked up upon it. Rather, recognize with thanksgiving for all of God’s provision and grace, knowing that we never merit it. It was God’s choosing, not our own that landed us with this gift of new birth.
  • Keep hope, but not in yourself. If you are concerned for someone’s eternal destiny, all you need to know is TRUST. Trust that God loves them and will bring them along according to the will of the Father, and according to His timing. What good has worry ever done for us about such things? Trust and obey is all we need.

Well, I’m sure there are other lessons. These are the ones that come to mind first of all for me. Perhaps, a thought has come into your mind as you read this. If so, please share a comment below.

Envy is the meanest attitude

envyEnvy is uglier than jealousy.
Jealousy wants to take hold of what it doesn’t have.
Envy is much meaner. Envy is the desire for something to be taken away from another.

Envy brings others down. Envy destroys others. Envy leaves all others below and by virtue of their destroyed life. We use envy to rise above others once they have reached bottom. Envy seeks others to reach a bottom, and employs tactics of destruction to bring it about.

Envy is revealed in grief when we read that their is only two witnesses chosen by God in Revelation, and only twelve chosen as disciples by Jesus.
Envy wants a happy marriage to fail, a exemplary life to be scandalized, and the innocent brought to corruption. Recently, I have seen it used to take the extraordinarily spiritually gifted made out to be satanic, and their gifts of the Spirit the fruit of evil.

Can anything be meaner than envy?

Lord, guard our hearts against envy, with your meekness. Teach us to be content with what we are, no more and no less. Teach us to seek other’s highest good, for such is the way of love. When we see others besides ourselves that have been called by you Lord to a higher calling, may we be found in celebration of heart for the goodness that you bestowed upon them, wanting only a more glorious display of your goodness upon them to the honor and praise of your name, oh Lord.

Words to Live By:

Envy is a double-ended sword…

One end is covetousness, piercing the heart of those who envy;
The other is pride, piercing the heart of those being envied.

Behold, envy is also a snare…

For those who envy are held captive by covetousness;
And those who are envied are easily ensnared by pride.

Therefore repent, and place all your trust in The Messiah;
Make Him your focus, your only desire,
And He will keep your foot from being taken…

Indeed, HE will preserve your life.

Answer: Completion – Yes / Termination – No

To anyone, who is confused here:

You are confusing the laws found in ordinances with the Law of the Ten Commandments.

The laws in Ordinances are the “laws” YahuShua (Jesus) is the “end” of…ONLY these were nailed to the cross of Messiah, says the Apostle Paul.

The Law of the Ten Commandments stand forever!

Romans 10:4

“Messiah is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”

Matthew 5:19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall DO and TEACH them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.” ~ Jesus

YahuShua (Jesus) said in Matthew 5:17 “I am come NOT to DESTROY the Law or the prophets: I am come NOT to destroy, but to fulfill”

Therefore, the interpretation that YahuShua (Jesus) is the “end” or “termination” of the Law is in error, for these verses cannot contradict one another. Rather, YahuShua (Jesus) is the FULFILLMENT,COMPLETION, PURPOSE (“end”) of the Law.
In Strong’s Concordance, “end” refers to a “result [immed., ultimate or prophetic], purpose” – “end”. We know it can NOT be “termination”, unless we make YahuShua (Jesus) a liar. For instance, in another place, YahuShua (Jesus) said, “It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one letter of the Law to fail.” (Luke 16:17)t the Bible, it shows us that the Law stands forever, and even saying that the Holy Days shall be kept forever (Ex. & Lev.). Does forever mean, NOT forever?! Is not the Word of God true forever as YahuShua (Jesus) said again in John? Did not Paul also say ‘ONLY those “laws”, FOUND IN ORDINANCES, were nailed to the cross of Messiah’ (Eph. 2:15 & Col. 2:14)?

Not all words in your Bible mean what we as Americans would take them to mean. We must look deeper and read them within the context of the WHOLE Bible. comparing them with all similar and related verses for better understanding, knowing first, that which YahuShua (Jesus), Himself, said is true forever, for He is the Word; and from that premise, we must seek to understand the verses above, interpreting them within the context of the WHOLE NT and even the WHOLE of the Bible, OT very much included.

We must not take verses out of context as to make them fit with church doctrine or our preconceived notions of what we personally think the Word should be. Segregation of the Word is perverse and will lead us into more ungodliness.

YahuShua (Jesus) fulfills, upholds, establishes and magnifies the Law in Himself, even giving us the power by His own Spirit to keep the Law if we would just obey and follow His example… Yea, He has even shown us the key to keeping the Law: “To love the Lord our God with all our heart, and mind, and with all our strength (This fulfills Commandments 1-4), and to love our neighbor as ourself (this fulfills Commandments 5-10)” For if we do this, obedience becomes effortless, because we do it not to gain salvation (we are saved by grace, through YahuShua’s (Jesus) blood). Rather, we do it because God has asked us to…because the Law is holy and for our benefit…

We keep the Law because of our love for the Father and because of the Son, even writing it on our hearts, if we would stop stifling the Spirit and cease from continually finding ways of going round about to justify our disobedience.

Simply repent, confess your wrong-doings against God and man, and “go and sin NO MORE” (Jn 8:11). For our forgiveness is assured. Do NOT betray that forgiveness and sacrifice by justifying sin and crucifying the Lord of Glory over and over in your hearts(Heb. 6:6)…

To disobey God is sin and sin is defined by the Law (Rom. 7:7 & 1 Jn 3:4).

“Do we then make void the Law through faith? God forbid: yea we establish the Law.” (Romans 3:31)

“Wherefore the Law is holy, and the Commandment holy, and just and good.” (Romans 7:12)

“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law.” (1 John 3:4)

“And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself to walk as He walked.” (1 John 2:3-6)

“By this we know we love the children of God,when we love God, and keep His Commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments: and His Commandments are not grievous.” (1 John 5:2-3)
